Summary of activities

The goal of the project is to significantly increase the compactness of TUH by creating a modern core hospital that includes surgery, intensive care, emergency medicine, and radiology. It is likewise aimed to stop medical activities in buildings that are unsuitable for this purpose. As a first step two new blocks shall be added to the existing medical complex in Maarjamõisa by the year 2008. Accordingly, in addition to the above named specialities, neurology and neurosurgery, gynecology and obstetrics, and oncology shall be concentrated into a unitary structure.
